My friend's and I saw this Villa early this year and was available on the very week we wanted to stay in Malta. When I checked the availability calender for this Villa I noticed it fully booked apart from the week we wanted so we snapped it up. I can tell you this Villa does not give those photos justice, it really is a fantastic place to stay at.

Great Pool, great BBQ area, excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them and they really do look after this property as if it was there own home.

An example of how helpful they were, I was staying on the island for a few days after the visit at the Villa and realised I had left some cash in my room. So I called Garrett (the owner) and we met the next day on time and no problems what so ever.

Location is fine for access to the shops, restaurants and bars. They are walking distance up a slight hill.

Thumbs up for this Villa!!!

Citrine Villa was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. It was spotless and the pool area was very well maintained.

Garrett and Stephanie were both very helpful and answered any queries very promptly. Garrett gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to see which was great.

We had a wonderful time in Malta and would definitely go back

There was 8 of us staying in the villa. Wow what a lovely place. The living space, the kitchen and the pool are all huge.
The villa is extremely well equipped with everything you need to ensure a home from home. All the bedrooms are air conditioned and the lounge and the dining room too.
We had a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival which was very nice. Garret the owner showed us around and was very helpful. He was non instructive and sorted any problems quickly and efficiently.
The pool deserves a special mention. Most pools are only 5ft deep, this has a deep end of 2.4m and lots of space around the pool, also qualify sun loungers and a shower and toilet.
The outside space is perfect, a BBQ and a fridge by the pool with a large external dining area over looking the valley.
The area is a quite residential area but access t local shops and the town of meliha is only 5 mins away by car.
A great place to explore Malta and would love to return.
Note that there is done steep steps so not for the infirm!

We stayed in September 2014, 6 adults and a 2 year old. We had a fantastic week at the villa, which is well equipped, spacious, and located in a quiet residential area of Mellieha.

The villa features and indoor heated pool, a large beautiful outdoor pool and sun bed with BBQ area along with a games room.

The bedrooms are large and well furnished and the living and kitchen area is spacious and very comfortable. All complete with an excellent aircon system.

I would recommend this villa to family and friends alike, highlighting just how comfortable this villa is, and how homely the owners make you feel.

Should I return to Malta as a large group, I would certainly stay here again. Thank you.

Great villa for family holiday with lot of space
The Villa is big like with 4 enormous bedrooms and 4 bathrooms ! A large pool - a perfect size for a group booking (we were 10 of us with kids). Its a 2 minute drive to the center where there are shops, supermarkets and all sorts of gift shops.
Equipment is modern, it is very nice to have different space in the villa to relax, as BBQ space, etc.
Last but not least, Garrett, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful (more than proactive ;-))

We spent three weeks in this lovely property. We went to Malta for a family wedding and so our mixed age group of 10 consisted of elderly grandparents (89 and 83) and two teenage boys. We did worry about the amount of stairs when we booked but we needn't have. There were plenty of handrails to hang on to and the layout of the villa was such that my father could sit on the lovely shaded terrace close to the pool watching us all and join us when it was cooler. The house and rooms were spacious enough for us to be able to spread out and have our own space. The boys (and husbands) were happy with their wifi and television. It was lovely to sit and eat together in the evenings at the huge table on the top terrace overlooking the valley with sight of the sea, when we were not out eating at one of the numerous restaurants in Mellieha. We hired cars but the non drivers amongst us found it easy to catch buses everywhere they needed to go and the Gozo ferry was only a 10 minute drive away. Because we were there for 3 weeks we did have some niggles with a faulty aircon (a real necessity in huge August heat) and a shortage of water in a couple of bathrooms one day but Garrett was on hand to get everything fixed pretty quickly. The star of the show, though, was the pool. It was beautifully maintained by Garrett, the water felt silky and we found it hard to drag ourselves away from it.
There are shops (small supermarket, chemist, lovely bakery) on the main road which is an uphill walk best taken early morning of early evening in August! It is November now and we still close our eyes and wish ourselves back in Malta sitting by that pool!

Citrine Villa has everything you could want, plenty of space to have your own holiday if in a mixed group. The pool is fantastic, very big, deep enough to swim properly and spotless. The rooms and bathrooms were all clean and spacious. The owner was very helpful with everything , whenever we called him.
There are plenty of places to eat, but Mellieha is hilly, we found the taxi's cheap and worth it! The card for them is in the villa. The Halfway Inn does really great steaks, book and sit outside, good for young families indoors.
Make the trip to Valletta, do go in the church and walk to the top to the gardens, well worth it, and there is a cold beer waiting for you at the top.
Do the boat trip from Sliema if you are intrested in Malta's history.

Would stay again. Happy holidaying!!
