Citrine Villa has everything you could want, plenty of space to have your own holiday if in a mixed group. The pool is fantastic, very big, deep enough to swim properly and spotless. The rooms and bathrooms were all clean and spacious. The owner was very helpful with everything , whenever we called him.
There are plenty of places to eat, but Mellieha is hilly, we found the taxi's cheap and worth it! The card for them is in the villa. The Halfway Inn does really great steaks, book and sit outside, good for young families indoors.
Make the trip to Valletta, do go in the church and walk to the top to the gardens, well worth it, and there is a cold beer waiting for you at the top.
Do the boat trip from Sliema if you are intrested in Malta's history.

Would stay again. Happy holidaying!!

Great location for a family holiday on Malta. The Villa itself was first class with all the ammenities a family needs (inlcuding a great pool!). The Villa owner was always availible for assistance, and it was a nice touch for him to greet us with a welcome basket.

We would certainly reccomend the Citrine Villa for families, as there is plenty of space inside and out. We found that as we were a large group, renting lots of cars wasn't really worthwhile, it was far better to just rent a local minibus for day trips.

" Absolutely fantastic villa in excellent location "

The location of the villa is extremely quiet and feels very secluded even though is part of a villa estate. The views are beautiful from the terraces. It takes 10 minutes fast walking uphill to the nearest bus stop and amenities e.g. supermarket, bars and restaurants, and 20 mins to the beach. It's extremely spacious, and the layout is great as you can easily still maintain your own space when holidaying with several couples. The multiple terraces provide seating outside in the sun or shade whatever the time of day.All the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and with all rooms having air conditioning remain cool when needed. The kitchen has more utensils and crockery than is imaginable and all the appliances are of top quality.
The interior and exterior of the villa is maintained beautifully, and exceptionally clean. The furniture and decor is extremely modern and minimal.
Most importantly to us was that the pool was clean and could be used at all times. It's a great size and is cleaned twice a week, and more if necessary.
The owners were amazing, and would bend over backwards to help in any way they could. I have stayed in other villas previously which have been extremely hard to contact the person in charge of the villa when something needs to be dealt with. Garrett was easy to get hold of and would deal with any queries we may have immediately.
This villa would be recommended to all our friends, there is a lot of stairs so people with mobility problems could find their stay here difficult, otherwise it is recommended to anyone whichever age or group decide to holiday together in a villa.
Concluding this review, we're saving up immediately to come again!

Weddingparty....

We stayed here at the beggining of September 2009 and I must say it was amazing. A large spacious villa with it's own private pool and BBQ area, plenty of room for 8 to not get on top of one another. Clean, tidy and no problem was too much trouble for the owners to resolve. They even ordered our taxi's for us and have a restaurant nearby which served lovely food.

Overall a lovely place and I would definately stay here again.

'Fabulous villa'

This villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It is beautifully appointed with every facility. The owners provided excellent service and were very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. We loved the pool and the interesting views. The comfortable loggia provides welcoming shade. It is well situated for visiting the island attractions although a car is probably necessary.

We would recommend this property without hesitation especially for large family groups and we will no doubt be returning soon ourselves.

We had a fantastic two weeks. The kids loved the pool. It was an added bonus. Very hot and sticky in August but still lovely.

The villa is very well kitted out that made living easier, it is worth its weight on gold. Garretts been great. Must try the family restaurant very friendly and great food.

Hope to return soon.

Thank you

We rented the villa for our group of 9. It was so perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of a very high quality, and a great layout for a group of friends.

The pool was lovely, as were the living areas. The BBQ area had a great BBQ, table, sink and bar fridge. Perfect for some communal outside cooking!

Inside the kitchen was the most equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental property! More pots and pans than I have at home!

The location was quiet, which suited us. It was about a 15 minute slow wonder up the hill to the main street and restaurants/bars. It took about 30 minutes walking slowly to the Mellieha Bay beach.

The owners were very helpful, especially in organising multiple transfers as different people left at different times! There was even a lovely welcome basket for us including some breakfast items, great because we got in so late.

Highly recommended!

Nine of us stayed at this fantastic villa and there was plenty of space. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need and more. If you need any assistance Garrett is on the end of the phone and made us feel very welcome. The views over the bay of Mellieha are stunning from the villa. The villa was extremely clean and well maintained and nothing was too much trouble for the owner Garrett.
We had a fantastic meal in the Bouquet Garni in Mellieha Village on the last night we highly recommend it. There is a supermarket at the top of the hill (you do need a car) along with a brilliant bakers and butchers. You will not find a better equipped villa than this one and we highly recommend it. We had a wonderful time.
